Dr. Sook Kim and Dr. Joshua Kim opened their first family-owned dental office back in 2016. Over five years later, and following the success of Duluth Dental and Dentures, they opened Dentistry at Ivy Falls to further reach and better serve patients.

Dr. Joshua Kim, DDS
Dr. Joshua Kim’s path to dentistry began back in high school when he started working for his mother, Dr. Sook Kim, at her dental office. This is where Dr. Kim first discovered his love for helping patients of all ages. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in biology from Southern Adventist University. Following graduation, he worked as a missionary in Pucallpa, Peru, where he spent the majority of his time traveling to various regions of the Amazonian jungle to assist folks who lacked access to dental care.
Dr. Kim received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in California. Since then, he’s worked to provide comprehensive dental care to his community, first in Pennsylvania then in Georgia.
Dr. Sook Kim, DDS
Dr. Sook Kim offers patients decades of experience in healthcare and dentistry. After her family relocated to the United States from South Korea, she worked as a registered nurse for over 10 years before deciding to pursue higher education to better serve her community. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tennessee, and continued her education in a General Practice Residency program in Meharry Medical College. Throughout her career, Dr. Kim has loved restoring both the look and function of patients’ smiles.
Dr. Kim owned private practices in both Nashville, Tennessee and Mt. Dora, Florida before moving to Georgia to work alongside her son. She is actively involved in both her community and local dental associations, and she’s proud to offer biannual free clinics each year.
